July 11, 2009 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Backyard Destinations 2948 Bechelli Lane Redding, California Google Map A Motorcycle & Scooter Show & Shine scheduled from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. will be held at Backyard Destinations (2948 Bechelli Lane). There is no charge to enter your scooter or bike into the show. Prize awarded to winner of Peoples Choice. The event is hosted by Big Bike Weekend and Backyard Destinations. The public is invited to stop by and vote for their favorite scooter or motorcycle. Raffle tickets will be given away to enter into the drawing for the Big Green Egg ceramic cooker for those who stop by. Raffle tickets will also be sold for a Tank Urban 250DE scooter. Proceeds from the sale of this charity raffle tickets will support local agencies and nonprofits through grants provided through the Big Bike Weekend Community Fund at the Shasta Regional Community Foundation, a public charity. Outta Sight, Groovin' thru the 70's Kids Unlimited is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing dignity, character and a sense of belonging in young people through the performing arts. This Broadway caliber show is performed by 150 North State kids ages 7 through 18. The show will be at the Redding Convention Center July 23rd, 24th and 25th at 7pm with a 2pm matinee show on the 25th. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or online. Tickets are limited and going fast. See you at the show!!
